 The biscuit is no doubt one if the best snacks to eat, which is why many have taken it upon themselves to learn the easy biscuit recipe.

Most times we tend to buy biscuits at shop or mall, but how about saving yourself the stress and money, and learn how to make biscuits at home?


Follow this post as I'll show you the step by step guide of making biscuits at home.

Ingredients

The ingredients is the most important aspect of every snack recipes, and this one is the one if the easiest. Below are the four basic ingredients for making biscuits:

  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 175 grams plain flour
  • 1 medium free-range egg

Now to the Fun and exciting part... The procedures for making biscuits at home 

How to make biscuits at home

Step 1

Preheat the oven
The first thing to do is to get the oven ready. For this course, we are required to preheat the oven at 190*c.

Step 2

Mix the sugar and butter in a bowl
Combine the two in a bowl and mix until the texture is light and fluffy.

Step 3

Add the egg
Crack open and add the egg into your mix, then slowly begin to beat it in. Make sure all ingredients in the bowl are properly mixed together.

Step 4

Add the flour into the mixture using a sieve
Now you add the main ingredient of the recipe into the already mixed ingredients above.
Using a sieve, shake the flour through it, thereby removing any lumps.

After this, begin to mix the flour into the paste. Do this slowly and continually until your mix becomes a dough.

Step 5

Dust your worktop with flour. Sprinkle some flour onto your worktop so as to avoid your dough from being sticky when you begin rolling.

Afterward, four the rolling pin as well, then place the dough on the worktop, and begin to roll the dough until it's thick.

Step 6

Once your dough is rolled out, begin to cut out circles, or any desired shapes. Any left over dough can be reclustered to repeat the procedure.

Step 7

Grease your baking tray with butter and place the biscuits on top. Cook the biscuits for 15min-25min

Step 8

Bring out the baked biscuits and let it cool before adding any decorations.
