1 pound (450 grams) ground sausage (pork or turkey)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups cheddar bay biscuit mix (such as the one from a popular seafood restaurant chain)
1/2 cup milk (or as needed for moistening)
Directions
- First thing first, preheat your oven to 375°F and slightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine the grounded sausage, cheddar bay biscuits mix and shredded cheddar cheese. Combine all together using a spoon until they are all evened together.
- Pour in a little amount of milk to the mixture until the mixture is good enough to form into balls.
- Scoop a small amount of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Place the sausage balls on top of the baking sheet and don't forget to put some spaces in between them to allow for even baking.
- Proceed to bake the sausages for the next 20 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked.
